After a very enjoyable run of Workshops in Dunlaoighre Rathdown I’m happy to announce that I’ll be taking part in South Dublin’s Eco Week doing 6 Workshops in three schools during the week from the 23rd to the 28th April. Here’s a new song inspired by the workshops I’ve given to date. It’s from the perspective of a Greenhouse Gas!

I’ll also be visiting schools in Co. Kildare in the next month or two. Share the songs at www.climatechangesongs.com to get more people thinking about these issues. Thanks!

Club Chonradh na Gaeilge, 22nd March

I’m excited about doing a gig in Irish in the Club an Conradh, Harcourt Street. Mossy Nolan, Cathy McEvoy and Eimear Lynch will be playing with me on the night and we’ll have a few trad tunes for the craic too.
The gig will be in Irish as is the Club itself so bring your cúpla focail! Concert will start at 9pm and Doors are at 8.30pm. €7 or €5 for students or club members.

Looking forward to the Pan Celtic Competition in the Seven Oaks Hotel in Carlow this Thursday. Check out the two songs I’ll be singing. One called Eireoidh Grian (A Sun will Rise) with lyrics by Gabriel Rosenstock and music by myself.
The other called Do Mhuirnín Ó (Your one true love) will be sung by the up and coming Aoife Scott and myself and is a co-write I did with the great songwriter Aisling Kavanagh.

Imeall Geal BBC2 NI- 26th March

I just got word that the recordings I did with the BBC for the Imeall Geal show will be aired on the 26th March on BBC 2 NI at 10pm. Cur an long ag Seol will also be viewable on their website for those living in Northern Ireland. It’s a great show for anyone with even a cúpla focail so do tune in on Mondays anyway.
